Dantex takes Truepress to Packaging Innovations 2014

Dantex is to feature the Screen Truepress Jet L350UV digital color label press as part of its presence at next month’s Packaging Innovations 2014 event at the NEC, Birmingham.

The Truepress Jet L350UV offers high-speed UV digital label printing for short to medium runs, with jobs prioritized according to run length, material and finishing requirements. It is able to achieve a printing speed of 50m/min.

Dantex will also showcase its own 1290 label press for short runs and variable data printing at Packaging Innovations 2014, as well as the Star Plate and Star Proof systems.

Based on single-pass, four-colour LED technology, using four print heads to produce 7,500 imaging dots, its color scale technology is capable of scaling each dot to 16 different sizes. Dantex said it is ‘the ideal solution for fast, short run label print production’.

Star Plate is a digital imaging option designed for direct inkjet imaging to film for plate production. Star Plate’s Actual Dot technology provides powerful imaging controls on inkjet printers to produce a high-quality dot formation.

The Star Proof dot proofing solution has the ability to produce up to 200lpi, high-quality proofs on inkjet printers.

Rapidoflex will be on show too. It is a high-quality UV flexo plate designed for use in the narrow web label printing market.
