Eltromat to embark on twin_check 2.0 world tour

The twin_check 2.0 system combines 100 percent print quality inspection with web monitoring of the complete print format, and is mainly used in packaging printing such as flexible packaging, liquid packaging and cigarette packs.

When used on a printing press, twin_check can help to reduce substrate waste significantly by correcting the occurring causes of errors immediately, Eltromat said. In addition, it provides the basis for defect tracking with the aim to deliver 100 percent error-free print. The twin_check technology can also be deployed on rewinders for error detection.

The latest generation of twin_check, 2.0, was launched at Labelexpo Europe 2013. A new camera unit doubles the resolution and a new illumination unit is able to inspect on opaque, as well as on highly reflective, materials.

The Eltromat twin_check 2.0 tour will be visiting Baltimore in the US on April 27 and 30; Bad Oeynhausen, Germany on May 21-22; Bangkok, Thailand on June 11-14; Jakarta, Indonesia on June 25; Charlotte in the US state of North Carolina on September 17-18; Istanbul, Turkey on September 18-21; Tapei, Taiwan on September 26-30; Jeddah on October 13 and Riyadh on October 15 in Saudi Arabia; returning to the US in Minneapolis on October 20-22; and moving on to Shanghai, China on November 14-17.
