Flint Group has said events to mark the 10th anniversary of its flexo-focused regional customer events in Germany were well attended, with plans to hold more in 2014.

Flint Group has said events to mark the 10th anniversary of its flexo-focused regional customer events in Germany were well attended, with plans to hold more in 2014

Customer events in Steinfeld and Fichtenau, in northern and southern Germany respectively, took place in November last year, with around 80 visitors in attendance.

Presentations were given on the latest technologies and developments within the flexo industry: Dr Matthias Henker, Flint Group Packaging and Narrow Web, spoke about ink developments at Flint Group; and Frank Rheinisch, of Coim Germany, reported on the newest trends in laminating adhesives.

A core subject of both events was the status of Flint Group’s NExT exposure technology, with the latest results presented and evaluated.

For flexible package printing, the nyloflex NExT exposure technology enables an optimized ink lay down on press, with the potential to improve highlights and fine vignettes.

The events included an exchange of participants’ experiences.

Flint Group said it will host further customer events in 2014.
