Omet scores twice as Africa summit approaches

The Label Link press is equipped with chill drums, allowing the company to move into film production at a later date.

The announcement comes as Omet prepares to take part, along with Presstec, in Label Summit Africa, to be held in Cape Town next week (March 10-11).

Founded by Antron and Grant Hendricks, Presstec has done a lot of work in South Africa to build the Omet brand, and the Label Link order is the second Xflex press sold in the country.  The first was an Xflex X4 to Klint Scales of Durban.

Omet and Presstec believe there are good prospects for both the Xflex X4 and the newly launched Xflex X6 combination flexo/offset press in South Africa. The Xflex X2 gear-driven press with servo-assisted in-feed provides an entry level into the Xflex series.
