Sales, service and support of ThermoFlexX imagers are now handled in the south of Portugal by Anasiscor. Founded in 1991, the company is a supplier of pre-press systems and inkjet printing equipment.

‘We already sell CtP systems to the commercial market so we have an in-depth understanding of the technology and the issues,’ said Anasiscor general manager Leopoldo Lopes. ‘When we spoke to the ThermoFlexX team we were highly impressed by the detail of engineering and precision that goes into the construction of their flexo imagers. It was quickly apparent that the ThermoFlexX imagers are built for accuracy, productivity and ease of use.’

In the north of Portugal sales are handled by Anasiscor’s sister company Anassisgraf, whose general manager José Leite said: ‘The extensive features built into the ThermoFlexX imagers, several of them unique to these models, put them in a class of their own. For example they offer the widest selection of resolutions on the market amongst flexo imagers, up to 5,080dpi, which gives the user great flexibility. ThermoFlexX is a very exciting brand to add to our product portfolio.’

These distributor appointments closely follow new distributors in America and India, with other agreements expected over the coming weeks.

Christophe Lievens, director sales and marketing for basysPrint and ThermoFlexX, said: ‘Our intention is that by the end of 2014 ThermoFlexX imagers will be represented in every major country around the world.

‘The pioneering work that has taken place at our factory in Ypres has resulted in a range of imagers for the flexo industry that is attracting the attention of not only potential customers but also leading resellers.’
