CDT launches new products and software

Colordyne Technologies (CDT) has launched products and software to extend its end-to-end Industrial Class digital color printing offering.

A new print monitor application allows for improved management of CDT’s Industrial Class printers

As such, CDT will now provide a copy of Colordyne Label Designer Pro with each registered Industrial Class printer package at no additional cost. The Industrial Class printers include the web-fed CDT 1600-C and sheet-fed CDT 1600-S. The purpose of providing Label Designer Pro is to ensure that end users have an efficient and simple way to incorporate variable data into any color enhanced barcode product or shipping label.

A new version of the Wasatch SoftRIP offers integration with Colordyne Label Designer Pro, with the update meaning the user only needs only navigate Label Designer Pro while SoftRIP operates as a background task.

Further, a new print monitor application (pictured) allows for improved management of CDT’s Industrial Class printers.

CDT said this new application provides more information to the user while also replacing the legacy Tool Box. Functions include drop counts, job costing, system status and printer maintenance.

This new print monitor application will be shipped with every Industrial Class printer package at no additional cost.

In the second quarter of 2014, CDT will conclude development of the companion Windows driver for its Industrial Class product line, offering improved communication between Label Designer Pro.

These recent additions and updates to CDT's offerings are being put into place with the aim of making label designing and printing fast, efficient simple and seamless for end users of the CDT end-to-end offering.
