Thermal Transfer ribbons - wax
The wax range AWR® / AWX® is an economical identification solution dedicated for «flat head» technology. Its main feature is that it can be used on a wide range of label materials and is suitable for both uncoated and coated papers.
The AWX®FH ribbon is particularly outstanding for its good resistance to smudge.
All our black wax ribbons are compliant with usual industry regulations such as food contact, heavy metals, TSCA, etc.

Thermal Transfer ribbons – wax/resin
The main features of APR®/APX® wax-resin range are the high quality of its performances and its wide field of applications. This range of ribbons gives excellent results on coated papers and synthetics. It has good resistance to smudge, is capable of printing barcodes at 90° and has sharp definition. The recent launch of our APX FH ribbon as set a new standard to the industry.
All our black wax/resin ribbons are compliant with usual industry regulations such as food contact, heavy metals, TSCA, and other industry standards, most of them featuring some UL recognitions in conjunction with UL recognized tag and label materials.

Thermal Transfer ribbons - resin
The products in the AXR® resin range are intended for extremely demanding applications. The ARMOR resin ribbon range is made up of high technology products that are particularly which make it particularly recommended for synthetic label materials.
These high performance products are highly resistant: resistant to smudge, resistant to high temperature, to solvents and to some detergents. Some are adapted for specific applications such as care labels for the textile industry.

ARMOR revolutionary process, SolFree®
ARMOR is delighted to announce the launch of SolFree®, a unique Solvent Free Process.
Traditionally TTR manufacturing use solvents during the coating process. With ARMOR’s innovation, for the 1st time, a ribbon is coated without using solvents. Popular wax ribbons of the range will benefit from SolFree®, keeping exactly the same printing performance you enjoy today. ARMOR has made significant investments in R&D and industrial equipment to ensure high production capacity to satisfy the demand for such products.
This major step forward for the industry in environmental preservation, also guarantees long term availability of TTR, should local and/or international regulations impose some drastic restrictions on solvent consumption at any time in the future.
