AIMCAL elects new officers, directors

Moscaritolo joined Toray Plastics for PET films and is currently senior director of new business development. With 32 years of experience in polymer film sales and production, he worked for Bollore, QPF and AET Films before joining Toray. He has also served AIMCAL as treasurer.

AIMCAL’s membership has also elected Dante Ferrari of Celplast Metallized Products as vice president and Thomas S. Rimel Jr of Dunmore Corp as treasurer. Both Rimel and Ferrari previously served as directors of the association.

Ferrari has 20 years of experience in the flexible packaging industry, including 15 years at Celplast Metallized Products. Now president of Celplast, he started there as a technical service engineer and moved through a variety of positions including business development engineer, product development engineer, sales and marketing director, and chief operating officer. He is leading a management buyout team that has purchased a majority stake in the business from its founders, Chuck Larsen and Bill Hellings.

Rimel has been with Dunmore Corp for more than 15 years and currently serves as chief operating officer. Prior experience includes technical manufacturing and commercial positions at DuPont, International Paper and Adhesives Research.

Newly elected directors include Andrew Jack of Vacuum Depositing, Bob Pasquale of New Era Converting Machinery and Michael Sullivan of MTI Polyexe. Ginger Cushing of Nordmeccanica, Steve Jackson of Camvac and Matt Menges of Maxcess International were re-elected as directors. Danis Roy of Davis-Standard continues to serve on the board as past president.

Jack joined Vacuum Depositing in 2013, while Pasquale is a founder of New Era Converting Machinery and has served as its president since 1996. In 2005, Sullivan became vice president of sales and marketing at MTI Polyexe, having started his converting industry career in the early 1970s. Cushing is a 25-year veteran of the flexible packaging converting industry, Jackson has enjoyed a 33-year career with Camvac and Menges has devoted his entire career to managing Menges Roller, which became part of Maxcess International in 2017.
