Bobst UK & Ireland appoints web-fed specialist

Porter has more than 30 years’ experience in the printing industry, including over five years as innovative technical print manager at the Centre for Process Innovation’s UK-based science and technology center.

Porter will be responsible for process improvement, machine analysis, new machinery commissioning, training and customer liaisons to proactively improve customers’ machine performance.

He said: ‘It is very exciting to be joining Bobst’s UK Web-Fed services team at such a dynamic time. Service is a key focus for Bobst and the team are passionate about providing the right level of training and support to our customers. This enables them to maximize production output while maintaining consistent and predictable print quality and stable web handling across both narrow and wide web ranges of equipment. Porter’s appointment is part of the Bobst Business Unit Services Transformation Program to ensure customer service remains at the core of the company’s business activities globally.
