Paddy O’Hara, Industrial Inkjet’s director of technology, has moved to become director of business development from January 8, 2019.

He has held senior technical roles within Industrial Inkjet since 2007. Capitalizing on his extensive experience of Konica Minolta’s inkjet technology and its applications, O’Hara will work to develop new and existing markets for the current Konica Minolta printhead range and lay the foundations for successful roll out of the new models coming from Konica Minolta’s printhead development program.

Additionally, he will develop opportunities for Industrial Inkjet’s inkjet modules, the ColourPrint and Monoprint ranges, in their core market segments of security, packaging, labels and the exciting new area of décor printing.

O’Hara will also take on the responsibility of managing Industrial Inkjet’s product portfolio and the marketing activities around it.

Industrial Inkjet’s managing director, John Corrall, said: ‘We are constantly looking at where the next opportunities will be for inkjet technology. O’Hara is well known in the industry and with his strong technical background he can ensure that we and our partner Konica Minolta are fully prepared with the right solutions at the right time.’
