Corporate expert joins CCL as director

CCL Industries has appointed Kathleen Keller-Hobson as its new corporate director, and who will bring ‘great value’ to the company’s board and committees through her experience in corporate finance and governance.

CCL Industries has appointed Kathleen Keller-Hobson as its new corporate director

Keller-Hobson has more than three decades of experience as a senior business lawyer providing strategic advice on significant transactions, critical business issues and risk management.

She started her career in 1979 at international business law firm Torys, where she spent 27 years, including establishing and managing the London office of Torys for nearly 10 years, before moving on to Bennett Jones and latterly Gowling Lafleur Henderson.

Her experience includes advising senior management, boards of directors and special committees on public and private mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, governance and shareholder activism, as well as having had extensive involvement in cross-border transactions.

CCL Industries executive chairman Donald Lang said: ‘(Her) wealth of legal knowledge and business experience, particularly in the areas of corporate finance and governance, will bring great value to CCL’s board and committees.’
