Domino appoints Shane Dewar as European director

Shane Dewar has been appointed as Domino’s director for Digital Printing Solutions in Europe, with responsibility for driving sales of the company’s inkjet printing equipment and managing support services across the EMEA region.

He moves into the role after spending two years as the UK business manager for the Digital Printing Solutions division.

Dewar has been with Domino for 22 years, initially employed in the logistics area of the business. He then moved into UK coding and marking area sales, before moving on to national accounts management and OEM management. In 2012, he transferred over to the company’s Digital Printing Solutions division, initially in UK sales before being promoted to the role of UK business manager, with responsibility for the UK sales, service and project management team.

Philip Easton, director of Domino Digital Printing Solutions, said: ‘He has built up an enormous amount of experience within various management positions he has held at Domino over the years, so we are confident he will prove to be key to continuing our rapid business growth across Europe.’

Dewar added: ‘After spending over two decades undertaking a variety of different roles within Domino, I am relishing the opportunity of taking on this new challenge of promoting our complete range of digital inkjet color label printing and our comprehensive variable data printing solutions across Europe.’
