EFI has hired veteran software executive Gabriel Matsliach as general manager and senior vice-president of EFI Productivity Software

At EFI, Matsliach has assumed leadership of a Productivity Software business that has achieved 103 percent revenue growth over the last three years.

Prior to joining EFI, he was with telecommunications software provider Comverse, serving as chief product officer and prior to that as president of global products and operations and as general manager of Comverse's business support systems product line.

Matsliach is bringing his considerable technology development and marketing experience to an executive position left open earlier this year after Marc Olin's promotion to chief operating officer.

Olin said: ‘We are very excited to have Gabrielle join the EFI team. His significant experience in software promises to bring some great new ideas to our team and help continue the rapid growth of the Productivity Software business unit as we help more and more small to large businesses around the world become more efficient and competitive.’

‘EFI has a phenomenal track record as an industry leader and as a savvy innovator, and its Productivity Software offering provides real, tangible advantages for print business profitability,’ said Matsliach. ‘This is an exciting time for printing companies using our data-driven management tools to drive business growth, and I look forward to advancing EFI's offerings and helping even more customers around the globe take full advantage of the innovations we are developing.'
