Alan Day has joined the UK Flint Group Narrow Web team as business development manager. Day used to work for Akzo Nobel Inks, one of the predecessor companies that formed Flint Group.

A major part of Day’s function as business development manager involves the UK roll-out of new product developments for the narrow web industry, like the recently launched Flexocure Force UV range, as well as strengthening Flint Group’s position utilizing recent developments in Flexocure XS for shrink sleeves.

Mark Sutton, commercial director for the UK and Ireland, commented: ‘This is an important boost for Flint Group in the UK. It strengthens the team and alongside the recent move of the UK operation to Ruabon, North Wales, this appointment is the next phase in our commitment to this major market.’
