Flint Group makes strategic appointments to its EMEA sheet-fed sales teams

Most recently UV sheet-fed global business development director, Buchanan has worked with Flint Group since 2013, having previously spent time at Stehlin Hostag Ink UK then hubergroup.

His appointment forms part of Flint Group’s ongoing program to appoint strategic key personnel in its Sheetfed business segment. As such, Grant Penfield, currently managing director of Druckfarben UK, has taken over as EMEA business director, Sheetfed Commercial.

These positions include overall sales responsibility for Flint Group’s sheet-fed inks, coatings, transfer media and chemicals.

Buchanan and Penfield will both report to Romain Boulot, vice president of sales and global strategy, Sheetfed, who commented: ‘We are delighted to welcome Grant and Jim to these two new positions, which will be key to the success of our ambitious direct sales growth plans in EMEA for both Sheetfed Commercial and Sheetfed Packaging segments.

‘They will both bring improved clarity and greater focus to these areas which will help our sheet-fed customers to fully understand and benefit from our unique product and service offering.’
