FPLMA elects new board members

FPLMA, the recently created Australian label and packaging trade association, has elected three new members to its board.

This sees HP's Michelle Lees, Hally Labels’ Tania James and David Feenan, a board member of ANZFTA prior to its merger with LATMA, join the Flexible Packaging and Label Manufacturers Association (FPLMA) board.

The elections took place at FPLMA’s annual general meeting, which was held in conjunction with association’s 2017 Melbourne conference and technical forum.

According to FPLMA president, Mark Easton, the attendance at this year’s event exceeded the organization’s inaugural event last year. A broad spectrum of speakers covered a wide range of topics, including future employment trends, organizational culture, new insights into processes and materials, industry training, and workplace relations, as well as the latest developments in digital printing and converting technologies.

Easton welcomed the newly elected board members, acknowledging their experience would serve to reenergize the organization.
