Further appointments strengthen Roland DG’s European and UK teams

Roland DG has made further appointments and promotions within its European and UK teams as it looks to develop as a global brand and pursue continued future growth, with Sarah Lyons to head up its new UK marketing team and Gillian Montanaro named as head of EMEA marketing.

Lyons has extensive through the line marketing experience, including multiple marketing positions with alcoholic beverage brand Bacardi. Roland DG said she brings, ‘a passion for delivering innovative and creative marketing campaigns, from both a B2B and B2C perspective’, and, as marketing manager of its UK operation, ‘will afford the company a contemporary view on the current market setting Roland DG head and shoulders above the rest’.

The appointment of Lyons comes on the back of Roland DG (UK)’s previous head of marketing, Gillian Montanaro, being promoted to the role of head of EMEA marketing, a role involving the development of coordination and strategy across Europe. With her expanded role, Montanaro has followed Jerry Davies, the previous managing director of Roland DG (UK), who has similarly been promoted from the UK to a role with a Europe-wide remit.

Both Davies and Montanaro will continue to be based in Roland DG (UK)’s headquarters in Clevedon.

Brett Newman was also recently named as the new managing director of Roland DG’s UK operation.
