Heidelberg USA appoints VP of field sales

Heidelberg USA has named Ed Young as VP, field sales. Young also has been appointed to Heidelberg’s executive management team and will report to Heidelberg USA’s senior vice president, sales and service, Bob Boyer, Sr. ‘Ed’s knowledge of the industry, leadership skills and experience in introducing customers to innovative technology solutions will all play a key role in our future growth,’ Boyer said.

With nearly 30 years of printing industry experience, Young joins Heidelberg from Goss International, where he served as regional vice president, sales. Young holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and has completed a number of post-graduate studies at the University of Michigan, University of Chicago and Harvard University. He is active in industry organizations, including the National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL) and the Printing Industries of America/Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (PIA/GATF).

’I am excited by the opportunity to be part of the Heidelberg team,’ Young said. ‘I look forward to building on the solid foundation which has been established and meeting the future challenges of our customers.’
