- Will promote OLM solution to UK market

Hybrid Software has strengthened its UK sales effort with the appointment of Sean Runchman as sales manager for the UK and Ireland.

During a career in graphic arts that spans more than 20 years, he has held European and global senior account management roles for industry-leading companies involved in hardware, workflow and consulting services, including Esko and hubergroup.

Hybrid Software’s order lifecycle management (OLM) tool treats the integration of existing software, hardware and workflows, including online ordering, production, pre-press, MIS, financial systems and databases, as a “product”.

OLM software is designed for use in all areas of print, from commercial offset and digital to packaging, labels, inkjet and the screen/sign markets.

Runchman replaces Koen Lesage who has left to join Flemish media company De Persgroep in the role of IT project leader for editorial systems.

Runchman said: ‘I’ve known the senior management at Hybrid Software for a long time and what they are doing with order lifecycle management is unique in our market.

‘It’s an extremely exciting approach to the specific issue of integration and the much wider issue of how print organisations can reduce production costs when most of them are already operating more leanly than ever before.’

He added: ‘It’s great to be working back in the UK and I’m already involved in discussions with potential customers operating across a wide spectrum of print-related fields

‘OLM has particular applications within the packaging arena and this is a sector that I’ve been heavily involved with over recent years.

‘I’m looking forward to explaining Hybrid Software’s philosophy to some old familiar faces and am expecting a few raised eyebrows when people realise just what OLM offers them.’
