Intercolor bolsters technical capability

Following on from its recent appointment of Joe Smith as sales director, ink manufacturer Intercolor, the UK operation of Zeller and Gmellin, has announced the appointments of Peter Grady as its new technical services manager and Richard Ely as its new technical manager.

Grady has been in printing ink for over 30 years, 15 of which have been spent in the narrow web sector working across Europe with global suppliers. He has a strong focus on combination printing, in particular its application to narrow web packaging and is well known in the flexo industry. In his new job role he is currently operating across the UK and Ireland.

Ely is a qualified chemist who has worked with UV inks and coatings since 1991. He brings with him specialist knowledge of radiation curing systems including EB as well as experience of other ink systems.
