JM Heaford appoints service engineer for the Americas

Nicholas Myaard, service engineer at JM Heaford, to support the US, Canada and Latin America markets

JM Heaford has appointed Nicholas Myaard as service engineer for the US, Canada and Latin America.

Based in Michigan, Myaard was previously engaged in a similar role at Omet. A strong background in electronics ensures he has the appropriate skills for installation and support of the full range of Heaford technologies in the diverse Americas markets.

David Muncaster, director of operations and business development at JM Heaford, said: ‘With more than 1,700 Heaford machines installed in the Americas, and that number continually growing, it’s essential that we seek out the right talent to ensure that we continue to provide the level of service and support our customers deserve. That’s not just a matter of finding the relevant technical experience, it’s also about the personal skills and attributes that support the Heaford philosophy that gives our customers the confidence to keep coming back to us.’

According to Myaard, Heaford’s leading reputation in the industry, along with the diverse product range and variety of customer applications among Heaford’s base are some of the most appealing aspects of his new role. ‘I really relish the opportunity to expand my knowledge in the industry and indulge my practical problem-solving to the full. At Heaford there’s nothing off the shelf or one size fits all; it’s about developing tailored products that add value for customers of whatever size or set-up, with a strong focus on R&D and a number of exciting new products in the pipeline the future looks exciting.’
