Lake Image Systems has announced that Jamie Hutchins, formerly director of business development, has been promoted to vice president of sales for North and South America.
His new responsibilities include the strategic management of Lake Image's sales programs and initiatives, as well as day-to-day sales operations in the United States and Canada.
‘As director of business development, Jamie exhibited the personal dedication and business leadership skills necessary for the position he now fills,’ said Scott Stevens, president of Lake Image Systems. ‘In his new role, Jamie will ensure that we continue to provide innovative vision inspection solutions, superior service, and timely technical support.’ Stevens will now concentrate on accelerating the company’s growth in the rapidly expanding variable data label and smart packaging markets.

Hutchins has more than 20 years of experience, within the machine vision and optics industry, where he has held senior roles in managing and leading teams. In addition, he earned a bachelor’s degree in optics technology from the University of Rochester.
