Mactac Printing Products appoints marketing director

Mactac, a supplier of pressure-sensitive adhesive products, has appointed Michael Marasch as senior marketing director for the company’s Printing Products division.

Marasch will oversee the development, implementation and management of marketing strategies and plans, specifically in the roll label business.

Marasch brings 30 years of marketing experience to his new position, having spent most of his career at specialty materials companies including BFGoodrich and Bayer. Marasch's background includes marketing, sales and business development management positions in the rubber, plastics, thermoplastic elastomer and chemical additive markets.

‘We are confident in Mike's ability to grow our roll label business through untapped application opportunities and steer our Mactac Printing Products team to further success this year,’ said Ed LaForge, vice president of marketing. ‘His extensive experience in marketing specialty materials will be invaluable for this position.’

Marasch holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry/Business from the University of WisconsinEau Claire. He is a member of the American Chemical Society - Rubber Division and the Society of Plastics Engineers.
