Manfred Janoschka elected as new ERA president

The European Rotogravure Association (ERA) has elected Manfred Janoschka of Janoschka Holding as its new president.

Manfred Janoschka succeeds José María Camacho as ERA president

He succeeds José María Camacho, former CEO of CirclePrinters, and is the first ERA president to be elected from a cylinder engraving company.

The election took place at the ERA Annual Conference, held in Dusseldorf on September 26-27 September. This also saw Max Rid, president of Heliograph Holding, elected as vice president, while retaining his position as ERA treasurer. Peter Andreou, CEO of CirclePrinters, Dr Andreas Dörfler, managing director of Impress Surfaces, and Dr Tomas Sterkenburgh, managing director of Saueressig Group, were elected to the ERA board.

Roto Smeets, CEO of Joost de Haas, and Dr Bertram Stausberg, co-CEO of Bertelsmann Printing Group, were re-elected for a further term of office.
