Mark Andy Print Products names new director

This new position continues the road map for the growing consumables and supplies business established last year with the integration of the Presstek supplies business into Mark Andy.

Calmese has worked with Mark Andy since 2011, having previously worked with Bastian Material Handling and Emerson Climate Technologies.

Joe Demharter, vice-president of consumables within Mark Andy Print Products, said: ‘Joe Calmese is the right combination of visionary and leader, who is committed to supporting our customers and managing this important part of our growing business unit.’

In this newly created position, Calmese is tasked with supporting Mark Andy Print Products’ mission to become a ‘total solutions provider’, working directly with label printers, converters and other flexographic print businesses and consulting with them in order to provide the best consumables, supplies and products that will optimize their printing operations and workflows.

Mark Andy Print Products is in process of initiating a customer outreach program designed to educate and encourage converters to look at their total operation when it comes to streamlining their businesses and maximizing pressroom efficiency and tools.
