Thinfilm appoints new software leader

Thinfim has appointed Poorab Shah as its new executive vice president, software as Christian Delay takes up the role of chief commercial officer.

Poorab Shah has joined Thinfilm following the promotion of Christian Delay

Shah brings extensive leadership and management experience to Thinfilm. His previous role was at AdBlock, where he served as chief technology officer, overseeing product, platform and growth initiatives in support of tens of millions of users worldwide. Prior to AdBlock, he was senior vice president, product and technology at Ask Partner Network, an IAC company, where he led the global search platform and a portfolio of desktop and mobile products that were integrated with, and distributed to, Fortune 500 clients and OEMs. Prior to that, he held senior positions at Mindspark, another IAC company and Priceline.com, building and scaling a range of products during the rapid growth phase of these businesses.

In his new role, Shah will be responsible for Thinfilm's software and IT strategy/products, the CNECT cloud platform and the company's growing ecosystem of software partners.

He takes up the position vacated by Delay after his promotion.
