Convergence Systems to resell RFID UHF readers
Convergence Systems Limited (CSL) has signed a reseller agreement with Impinj. CSL will launch the CS462 series of multi-port UHF Readers based on the new Impinj UHF readers.
‘Impinj has enjoyed a collaborative technical and business relationship with CSL for years,’ said Scott Medford, vice president of sales at Impinj. ‘CSL is a leading RFID technology provider and we are very pleased that CSL has become a premier reseller of Impinj products. Through this partnership and CSL's global reach, we will be able to bring Impinj's leading technology and products to more customers worldwide.’
‘We have been following the development of the new Impinj series of UHF readers,’ said Jerry Garrett, Managing Director of CSL. ‘We are impressed by the high performance characteristics. We are planning to resell Impinj's high performance RFID readers with LLRP API and to incorporate CSL's High Level HTTP API. The CSL high level API is backward compatible with our popular CS461 intelligent UHF reader's high level API. We offer a simple HTTP interface, event engine, multilayer filter, UHF tag group management and application profiling. The users can choose either LLRP API or CSL's high level API. We also believe that our family of high performance far-field and near-field UHF antennas will further enhance the total UHF reader solution for many applications.’
