Jürgen Bräu, head of inspection technology at Erhardt + Leimer, gave a presentation about 100 percent print inspection and the company’s Nyscan workflow at this year’s Label Forum Japan in Tokyo.

He outlined the advantages of Nyscan to senior buyers from the Japanese printing industry. Participants were also able to take a closer look at Nyscan during the accompanying exhibition.

Many printers in Japan still use traditional methods of print inspection. Erhardt + Leimer claims Nyscan produces less waste and therefore lower costs. ‘In recent years a process of rethinking has started. Today there is an increasing demand among Japanese printers for solutions that ensure 100 percent quality and which are economically efficient,’ said Bräu.

According to Bräu, the great interest of the participants during the Label Forum proves that there is high demand for more efficient inspection.
