AB Graphic to host digital converting summit
AB Graphic International, in conjunction with Dscoop, a digital solutions co-operative for HP users, will host a digital and converting summit at the AB Graphic facility in Elgin, Illinois, on July 16 and 17.
The event will feature hands-on opportunities and equipment interaction and is open to anyone from owners to operators to see various automated workflow processes.
AB Graphic will run demonstrations on the Vectra turret rewinders. The fully automatic glueless model with new AutoSet is claimed to save hours of set-up and changeover time with options such as compact unwind, automatic coreloading and finish roll closure with print and apply label application.
AB Graphic will also showcase its Omega digital converting unit, with focus on wine and liquor label embellishment and high speed digital label production. The unit has slitter inspection rewinders with 100 percent vision inspection and much more.
There will be digital comparisons between flatbed screen and flatbed hot foil compared to the new JetFX digital inkjet embellishment unit along with the new smart table-top Horizon rewinder.
AB Graphic is collaborating with partners such as HP, Domino, Dscoop, RotoMetrics and Cerm who will be present at the event to showcase their products.
