Avery Dennison recognizes suppliers at global awards ceremony

Avery Dennison Label and Graphic Materials honored 18 pressure-sensitive industry suppliers during the company’s annual supplier recognition ceremony, held April 1 to 3 in Noordwijk, Netherlands.

‘This is our opportunity to celebrate suppliers from around the world that meet or exceed our standards for customer satisfaction and performance,’ said Garrett Gabel, vice president, global finance and procurement, label and graphic materials. ‘Thanks to their dedication to the values highlighted in this program, we are able to continue to collaborate, innovate, and ultimately grow with our customers.’

The Avery Dennison Supplier Distinction Award Program considers four areas of excellence required to maintain a competitive advantage in an increasingly demanding industry: sustainability, quality, service and growth. To be considered eligible for recognition, a supplier must have met key metrics in each of the four areas.

‘We’re also pleased to honor three suppliers with a ‘Special Recognition’ designation. In the face of natural disaster, capacity challenges, and other special circumstances, these suppliers went above expectations to help us ensure uninterrupted service to our customers,’ said Gabel.

The 2019 Avery Dennison Supplier Distinction Award Winners were: Ahlstrom-Munksjö, CPC Logistics, Eternal Materials, Filmax, Heritage Interactive Services, Manucor, Mexichem, Mondi Technical Film, Mondi Release Liners, Pallet Alliance, Randstad, Ricoh, Sappi, Synthomer, Wacker and Wampolet

The 2019 Avery Dennison special recognition recipients were: Marubeni/Nippon, Trüb Emulsions Chemie and Sumei.
