BGM switches to LED lighting

Bar Graphic Machinery (BGM) has completed the installation of LED lighting throughout its design and manufacturing headquarters, significantly reducing the company’s carbon footprint.

Many of the machines from BGM’s Elite portfolio of converting and finishing equipment promise low carbon emissions, with some claimed to be so efficient that they use less than 40 percent of the energy of a household kettle

Over the years, BGM has implemented many company policies to help lower its carbon footprint. In 2014, the company made the decision that all future company vehicles purchased would be hybrids, reducing emissions of greenhouse gases such as toxic nitrogen oxides and carbon dioxide by as much as 30 percent.
