Color-Logic has certified Adcraft Labels for use of the Color-Logic process, making the Anaheim, California printer the first to be certified using a Mark Andy hybrid press configuration.

Color-Logic director of sales and marketing Mark Geeves said: ‘The certification test forms supplied by Adcraft and printed on its Mark Andy P7 hybrid press had a dramatic metallic color range and correctly demonstrated all Color-Logic decorative effects. The combination of white ink on metallic stock, together with Color-Logic decorative effects, yielded great visual appeal. In addition, many of the Color-Logic effects had an embossed feel produced by the hybrid process.’

Adcraft Labels was founded in 1977 to provide high quality flexographic printing for the medical and electronic industries. It later expanded into labels for pharmaceuticals, nutritional items, foods, beverages, personal care and consumer goods. In 1999, Adcraft began supplying high quality flexible films to these same industries. Then in 2003, Adcraft added rotary screen printing and in 2004 began offering security printing. It ordered a Mark Andy Diigtal Series at Labelexpo Americas 2016. With the addition of the Mark Andy hybrid press, Adcraft Labels offers the latest in printing processes for labels.

Geeves continued: ‘Adcraft brand clients will greatly benefit from the ability of their printer to differentiate their products on the shelf, since Adcraft now is able to supply 250 new metallic colors from a single base silver foil.  In addition, the new Adcraft Color-Logic process provides decorative effects and security elements using only five inks.’
