Comexi CTec adds flexo pre-press training to 2019 schedule

Delivered through the Manel Xifra Boada Technology Center (Comexi CTec), the program of this new course is currently being finalized and the date of the first edition will be published shortly.

As well as the new flexo pre-press training program, Comexi Ctec is to improve the training program for slitting and rewinding, including machine operation. Other training programs to be offered by Comexi CTec in 2019 including a laminating course (taught in German, Spanish and English), troubleshooting and standardization (taught in Spanish, English and Russian), maintenance (taught in Spanish and English), advanced flexographic printing (taught in Spanish, English and Russian) and a color management technical seminar (presented in Spanish and English).

Comexi CTec is a specialist in consultancy and technical service for the flexible packaging printing and converting industry. More than 1800 professionals have been trained through Comexi CTec courses. Its training is aimed at current and potential Comexi CTec customers, and address issues related to the different phases of the flexible packaging conversion process. These training courses are accredited by the University of Girona (UdG) as a specialization course, and for this reason on October 11th, the collaboration agreement between the technological center and the UdG Foundation was renewed.

The director of CTec, David Centelles, said: ‘We are firmly committed to training and our goal is to be the knowledge driver within the flexible packaging business. Constant training is a key tool that allows our customers to reinforce their leadership.’

Comexi has recently decided to divest its gravure business and is to focus on the sale and design of flexo, offset, lamination and slitting equipment.
