The conference program on June 12 will include presentations from HP, Océ Printing Systems, DLH Printing Ink Technology, Adphos Digital Printing, Fogra and printer Immer Digital. On the second day a visit to the Immer digital printing plant in Ventspils is planned, where an HP Indigo 20000 is operated.

The two-day event, o June 12-13 in Riga, Lativa, follows ERA’s first Digital Forum last summer, which came to the conclusion that the current status of digital printing ‘is just the beginning’.

James Siever, ERA secretary general, said: ‘Packaging and decorative applications are increasingly being served by digital presses on the industrial scale. How have printers, who use conventional print processes implemented digital technology in their production? And what is the current status of digital printing technology?

‘After ERA held a symposium on digital printing last year, we now invite you to join our second ERA Digital Forum meeting. You will hear presentations from pioneers in this field – digital press manufacturers, suppliers, research institutes and printers – and have the possibility to share your views with other participants in the networking opportunities of the conference.’The conference program on June 12 will include presentations from HP, Océ Printing Systems, DLH Printing Ink Technology, Adphos Digital Printing, Fogra and printer Immer Digital.
