FIG now distributing Presstek products in India

FIG is a long-standing distribution partner of Mark Andy and Rotoflex equipment in India. Presstek was acquired by Mark Andy earlier this year. Since then, work has been going on to integrate the two brands and the parent company’s network of distributors.

 

FIG now selling Presstek DI Presses is identified as a ‘big step’ at the international level. It will also facilitate field upgrades of existing DI presses with the latest Eco-UV curing, which uses less power than standard UV and is also available with a new or certified pre-owned DI units.

 

Gourav Roy, managing director at FIG, said: ‘Mark Andy promotes a “Total Solutions Partnership” approach and FIG resonates with this as well, making Presstek the perfect addition to our fleet of solutions. As soon as I heard about the acquisition, I knew this was the right path to take for our business too.’

 

With the addition of Presstek products, FIG now sells flexo, digital and offset printing technologies, and finishing equipment. 

 

Roy stated: ‘The way I see it, South Asian printing companies are looking for diversification. A label printer getting involved with packaging, a packaging printer getting involved with labels and commercial printer getting involved with labels and so on.’

 

Ian Pollock, director for the EMEA region at Presstek, added: ‘The partnership with Flexo Image Graphics is an exciting mark on Presstek’s history.
