The HP Indigo 6900 digital press, unveiled earlier this year, adopts advanced technologies, such as Pack Ready for Labels for the production of labels with high resistance characteristics.

A new DFE, HP Production Pro for Indigo Labels & Packaging, offers a faster RIP, allows enhanced fleet optimization and delivers greater site connectivity to respond to the pace of growth HP Indigo said its customers are experiencing.

HP Indigo 6900 also integrates easily with HP Indigo GEM technology. This UV inkjet-based embellishment unit will go on sale later this year.

Across three days, more than 150 attendees from industry associations, customers and professional media were present for the launch in China.

Located in Guangzhou Olympic Stadium, the demonstration center, which opened in November 2017, includes the full set of HP Indigo digital printing equipment, as well as pre- and post-printing process equipment from its partners. Shenzhen Crystal Source and Guangzhou Qingsong Security signed purchase contracts for HP Indigo digital presses at the demonstration center.

HP Indigo 6900 will also be presented for the first time at a trade show during the inaugural Labelexpo Southeast Asia, taking place May 10-12 in Bangkok.
