Idealliance Latin America to host G7 training at Etirama Technical Center

Idealliance Latin America will hold G7 training and certification on July 18-20 at flexo press manufacturer Etirama’s recently inaugurated Technical Center in São Paulo, Brazil.

The event will be held at Etirama's recently inaugurated Technical Center

This three-day training session, led by Steve Smiley, G7 expert trainer, will provide attendees with an opportunity for hands-on learning through live practical demonstration, press and device calibration, discussion, and collaboration with peers from the printing and packaging supply chain.

This multi-lingual training, offered in English and Portuguese, will give participants the required expertise in the G7 methodology, color theory, and experience in managing print and proofing workflows to achieve certification as G7 Experts and G7 Professionals, certified by Idealliance.

‘Projeto Pack, serving as Idealliance Latin America, comprises an extraordinary group of industry experts,’ said Jordan Gorski, Idealliance director of global certification programs. ‘They serve the Latin American market as colorimetric, metrology, and operational consultants and act as a tremendous knowledge resource with technical events, seminars, and a widely distributed technical magazine in an incredibly growing market.

‘We are not only proud that such a deeply knowledgeable group is Idealliance Latin America, serving the entire continent, but also excited to have such an embedded group of experts with deep relationships in the region. Attendees of this event should look forward to learning from a world-renowned color expert and G7 trainer, alongside their peers, to continue to expand their knowledge of print optimization, color management, and implementation of G7 to align print providers using global print standards and the G7 specification.’

Idealliance is recognized by ISO as the largest certifying body in the graphic and visual communication industry. G7 Certification is the most recognized international specification for color management, and not only achieves consistent color reproduction across any print medium or substrate, but also provides a tremendous savings to an operation's bottom line.

Utilizing G7 within a print production workflow improves output consistency across multiple print services, platforms and distribution outlets.
