Lemu Group has appointed Gibson Lopez International Services (GLIS) as its agent in Mexico and Central America as it aims to increase sales in the region.

The Spain-based company serves the point-of-sale (POS), lottery segment, die-cutting and finishing markets, flexible packaging, non-wovens, baking paper, plotter, gift wrapping vinyls and tablecloth industries.

Its recently launched turret rewinders for the label industry are complemented by its automated turnkey ‘rewind to box’ packaging systems, hence forming a non-stop, end-to-end packaging workflow.

GLIS owner and CEO Mike Gibson said: ‘It’s an honor to represent such a prestigious high-reputation company as Lemu Group. It is the perfect fit as GLIS today represents various companies including the largest manufacturer in thermal, carbonless and other papers.’

Gibson has more than 30 years’ experience in the paper and packaging industry, and together with his team including Monica Galicia and Paulina Avila will be able to cover the markets in the different industries Lemu Group is involved.
