Labels & Labeling will host a webinar exploring the narrow web flexible packaging market on Tuesday, June 12.

Webinar to explore narrow web flexible packaging

The one-hour webinar will feature market data as well as two label converters who have added flexible packaging to their offerings. Registration can be completed here.

The session is hosted in conjunction with All Printing Resources who recently commissioned extensive market research on this growing market. Market researchers LPC surveyed US narrow web converters who are active in the printing and converting of flexible packaging applications.

Catherine Haynes from APR will present the study’s findings. She’ll be joined by Jeff Salisbury from Label Impressions and Ryan Chai from Kala. The ‘Exploring Narrow Web Flexible Packaging’ webinar is the first in a series of webinars for this growing market that will be hosted by Labels & Labeling North America Editor Chelsea McDougall.

The LPC/APR study estimates that 12-15 percent of traditional US label printing companies with annual sales revenues of US$2 million or higher are producing what qualifies as flexible packaging applications on their narrow web presses. In the webinar, attendees will hear from two of them.

Salisbury from California’s Label Impressions will discuss how his company added flexible packaging offerings on his conventional presses and has been perfecting it over a decade, while Kala’s Ryan Chai will discuss digital flexible packaging production and state-of-the-art finishing equipment.

The webinar will begin at 10am CST and will explore the areas ripe for growth, as well as insight from leading converters. The webinar will last one hour, and feature a Q&A session.
