Label manufacturers association of India (LMAI) will invite brand owners to interact with its members on March 30 in New Delhi.

LMAI and Finsys partnered to plant 100 trees in Noida as a first step to help save the environment

Titled, ‘Brand Owner’s Perception of Labels in Changing Scenario’, the evening will feature prominent speakers, including: Barun Banerjee, head of packaging, Nestlé South Asia region, Nestlé India; Rahul Bharagava, vice president, packaging, Sun Pharma; Amiya Pradhan, assistant manager of packaging division at Dabur India; and design consultant Deepak Manchanda.

‘This event is in view of normal labels becoming a commodity and the need for printers to have enhanced decorating capabilities to catch the consumer’s eye and providing brand security as well,’ said LMAI president Kuldip Goel. At the event, Goel will also announce the launch of a special portal aimed at benefitting all printer members.

In the meantime, Goel, with support of ERP system provider Finsys, also organized the first tree plantation project in Noida. The association planted about 100 different types of trees as a first step to help save the environment.
