Maxteq appointed as Rotocontrol agent for Australia and New Zealand

The agreement cover’s Rotocontrol’s suite of finishing machines providing label inspection, slitting, rewinding, die-cutting, overprinting, digital and booklet printed labels.

Maxteq is an Australian-based print trade house representing international manufacturers of printing presses, finishing and print machinery, as well as printing consumables. Customers range from the small boutique companies to large international corporations.

The agreement was finalized after Andrew Maxwell, technical director of Maxteq visited the Rotocontrol stand at Labelexpo Americas 2018. Featured at the show was the DT-Series 340 for advanced finishing of digitally pre-printed label rolls, the FC-Series 540 fully automatic turret for rewinding of pressure-sensitive self-adhesive labels, and the RSC-Series 440 high-performance, compact, robust label slitter/rewinder.

Maxwell commented: ‘I was impressed with Rotocontrol’s live demonstrations on three of its label finishing solutions during Labelexpo Americas. Its proven German engineering in highly customized machines along with a strong backing in manufacturing expertise by parent company EMT has proven successful at an international level. There is a strong market here for Rotocontrol in Australia and New Zealand.’
