Midwestern converters invited to Label Day in Wisconsin

The organizers of Labelexpo Americas have opened registration for a dedicated Label & Package Printing Day for midwestern converters and suppliers, taking place on Thursday, June 21, in Wisconsin.

Converters invited to Label Day in Wisconsin

This educational and networking event – which is free for converters – will be hosted at Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, and will feature industry experts from Labelexpo and several of its industry partners. A number of topics connected with this year’s Labelexpo Americas will be covered, alongside the wider label and package printing industry.

The agenda for the day will feature five round table discussions focusing on specific themes including new opportunities, technology, automation, digital printing, the environment and workforce development. Labels & Labeling magazine’s North America editor, Chelsea McDougall, will be examining industry trends in the marketplace. Attendees are strongly encouraged to suggest topics for discussion when they register.

In addition, Tasha Ventimiglia, event director for Labelexpo Americas, will share exclusive details of what visitors can expect to see at this year’s show in September.

The event will run between 9.30 am-3.30 pm, with the option to network afterwards at an informal drinks reception. An optional networking event will also take place the evening before between 6-8 pm.

Ventimiglia said: ‘The Label & Package Printing Day is a unique opportunity to get a taste of our forthcoming Labelexpo Americas taking place later in the year, and connect converters with suppliers. We would strongly encourage early registration for this exclusive event to avoid disappointment. We also want to hear what topics attendees are most interested in, so that they can make the most of the day.’

Places are strictly limited on a first come first served basis, and attendees should register here or contact Mackenzie Stearns at mstearns@labelexpo.com for information.
