After the company’s creation 14 years ago in a small spare room, founder and managing director Lars B. Andersen has grown My Nametags into a business with distribution to 127 countries globally. Despite this expansion, all employment and production remains in the UK.

These achievements have been recognized by The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, which this year celebrates its 52nd anniversary. The awards focus on four areas of excellence: international trade, innovation, sustainable development and promoting opportunity.

Andersen commented: ‘As a UK company, we were incredibly honored to be recognized for our success in global markets. The reception saw the coming together of representatives from equally inspiring and growing businesses throughout the country, and to meet with so many was incredibly exciting. With an office move planned this week to keep up with growth, we cannot wait to see what the future will bring for My Nametags.’

My Nametags has outgrown four offices to date and launched nine international websites, including those for France, Belgium, Italy, Ireland and the Netherlands. To maintain company excellence in customer service, all websites are served with employees fluent in English, French, Dutch, Italian and Portuguese.
