ColorScreen has represented several leading machine and materials suppliers in the graphics, screen, pad and digital printing industries since it was established in 1981 by Hans Vogt.

Employing 21 full-time staff at offices in Cape Town and Durban, and supported by sub-distributors across the region, ColorScreen will provide a fast, local supply of rotary screens and related consumable products, technical consultancy, training programs and maintenance. Additionally, the Cape Town facility will provide a fast engraving service for re-imaging SPGPrints’ RotaMesh non-woven nickel screens.

SPGPrints’ rotary screen printing technology has enabled converters supplying consumer goods, wines and spirits markets to incorporate a variety of added-value features that give labels and packages a distinctive look and feel. High-impact effects include glossy, matte and tactile varnishes, vibrant colors, rich opaque colors, metallic effects and functional features from braille to anti-counterfeit options.

SPGPrints’ rotary screen products, including the new RotaMesh Glitter Screen, will be presented at Labelexpo Europe 2017.
