The two organizations stated that as the printing and converting industry continues to experience a gap in its workforce, it is more important than ever that the industry come together to develop new ideas and concepts to create a strong channel of incoming talent.

Bringing young talent into the label printing industry has been my sole passion for more than 20 years. Uniting with TLMI will only help strengthen the charge and drive further success in creating tomorrow’s workforce.’

In her role as program director, Johnson will lead the workforce development initiatives for the association. She stated: ‘TLMI is excited about strengthening our relationship with Bettylyn and the Phoenix Challenge Foundation.

‘Investing in the education and success of our future workforce is an important priority to our organization. As the industry evolves and the need for strong, skilled talent continues to grow TLMI and the Phoenix Challenge Foundation need to expand our programs and our resources to give our future workforce the tools they need to be successful.’
