UK open house to highlight integration of Mark Andy and Presstek

Taking place at Presstek's West London facility on June 6-8, the open house will consist of a morning, afternoon and evening session, repeated on each of the three days. Sessions will address advancements catered to printers and converters across the industry spectrum highlighting productivity gains. The attendee pool is expected to consist of commercial printers interested in expanding their offset business into labels, and label converters looking to enter the digital production space. Additionally, as many European print shops adopt both offset and flexographic technologies, the event will provide those in attendance an opportunity to learn how to evolve both production process into the future to gain a larger share of wallet for existing customers.

Live demonstrations of the Mark Andy Digital One label press and Presstek 34DI digital offset press with Eco-UV will be conducted. The Eco-UV add-on system instantly dries sheets at delivery so printers can immediately run a second side or head straight to finishing. The in-line curing system is available as a retrofit to any existing DI press. Digital One and Eco-UV equipped DI are proven technologies that reduce turnaround time, produce high-quality work and increase efficiency for their owners, according to Mark Andy. Both reinforce Mark Andy’s core belief that ‘it’s not about the technology you produce work on, but the way to be most profitable and meet customer needs’. This will be brought to life through real-time runs of commercial print work on Digital One and prime labels on the DI press, bending the norms of what each technology can support.
