Vinsak receives repeat order from the Indian government

Vinsak, an Indian machine manufacturer and press supplier, has completed installation of a Usar slitter rewinder on a press owned by the Indian government and used for security printing, with a second to follow.

Based on the feedback and application of the same, the government has raised a second order for a similar unit for another location

Vinsak Usar is equipped with a registered die-cutting module, a Vinsak UV inkjet system and 100 percent camera inspection. The Vinsak UV inkjet system can personalize variable data on various offset papers, coated papers, films and gloss papers at a maximum resolution of 600x600 dpi.

Based on the feedback and application of the same, the government has raised a second order for a similar unit for another location.

Ranesh Bajaj, director at Vinsak India, said: ‘It feels great to acquire repeat orders from the government where qualification criterion is strict and performance standards in security presses are at par with the highest in the world.

‘Credit goes to our manufacturing team for developing world class machinery and getting orders against European suppliers. It adds to the current government’s “Make in India” policy and also saves the country foreign exchange. The machine is garnering good response from the industry for its modularity. Our presence at the forthcoming shows in Thailand and Africa will see the product being accepted at newer global markets as well in the years to come.’
