Xeikon to host digital label printing webinar

The webinar – ‘Welcome to the future of digital label printing’ – will be hosted by Filip Weymans, VP of worldwide marketing for Xeikon. It is aimed at label converters who are looking to make their first steps into digital, who want to explore new digital label printing applications, and who want an inside view of the Xeikon Global Innovation Center.

The company will also reveal its plans for the upcoming Labelexpo Europe 2019 show in Brussels, on September 24-27.

As well as a video tour of Xeikon’s Global Innovation Center, the audience will be able to see footage of Xeikon’s Label Discovery Package – entry-level production for those new to digital; the Xeikon CX500 – the company’s flagship digital label press; the Xeikon CX3 within in-line finishing; the Xeikon PX3000 UV inkjet press. The company’s workflow systems will also be demonstrated. 

Danny Mertens, corporate communications manager for Xeikon, said: ‘Twenty-five percent of label converters worldwide have no digital equipment and are afraid to invest, and another 25 percent aren’t happy with their current solution. That’s one out of two label converters worried about their future challenges.
