Canadian converter Tamperguard installs ETI Cohesio

Tamperguard, a Montreal-based company with more than two decades’ experience of producing self-adhesive tamper-evident films, tapes and labels, has installed its third ETI Cohesio machine.

The new equipment will expand Tamperguard’s capacity, allowing it to respond to increasing worldwide demand for security films and tapes.

It is the Canadian company’s fifth machine from ETI. It now runs three Cohesio systems – for in-line coating and printing – and two Metronome flexo presses. 

‘Utilizing ETI technology expands our ability to produce a wide range of products at high speed and low cost,’ said William Drori, president of Tamperguard. ‘We automatically become more competitive with both quality and price, our business expands giving us more opportunities and higher volumes, thus needing more machines to produce them.

With its roots in the cash-in-transit industry, Tamperguard is a supplier of self-adhesive tamper evident films used by label converters worldwide.
