Cresta Labels has been providing flexible labeling to a wide range of industries for over 40 years. Its print capability includes flexo, hot foil and thermal transfer, as well as digital. The Dantex PicoColour, with corona treatment unit, is seen as the next step in the printer’s continued investment in digital technology. Cresta Labels spent 18 months researching the investment.

Peter Lloyd, managing director at Cresta Labels, said: ‘The PicoColour press offers a more robust solution to our current setup and has the ability to print and convert labels in one pass, thereby saving time in dealing with re-registration issues and material.

‘The corona treatment unit was also a must for printing on a variety of substrates, and with the flexibility of the PicoColour to add variable data and white, all future possible requirements are covered.’

Richard Lloyd, Cresta Labels’ sales and marketing director, added: ‘Dantex Group’s industry expertise in both repro and digital gave us a massive amount of confidence, and through the installation process its support and knowledge have been excellent. I can genuinely say this press is a game-changer for us. With the quality and label finish achieved, we are very excited about the future opportunities it brings.’
